Overview:

The San Miguel Beermen are on the verge of making a history as they will attempt to win the 2015-16 PBA Philippine Cup championship despite going down 0-3 in the series. No team at the PBA has ever come back from that deficit in the finals.

Meanwhile, the Alaska Aces will try to snap their three-game losing streak and win their first Philippine Cup trophy in the post-Tim Cone era.

Alaska Aces | “Muscle Man” and “The Beast”

Vic Manuel has been the go-to-guy for the Alaska Aces in this series, while Calvin Abueva brings the intangibles and energy for the team. These two guys are potential finals MVPs if they get to win game seven, but will their combined strength be enough to bring down June Mar Fajardo?

San Miguel Beermen | The “Kraken” is back

After the Beermen survived from being swept with an overtime victory on game four, hope shone bright as Fajardo played the following contest after missing time from a knee injury. Since then, San Miguel returned to its old dominating ways as the squad played better with the reigning MVP on the court.  Can the Beermen defend their throne and make history at the same time?
